Terms and Conditions

All feathers are subject to availability and may not be exactly the same as the pictures depict because all feathers are cruelty-free and free-molted for harvesting. This means no feathers are plucked from the birds which leads to limited availability. All colors vary.

Some hardware on items are recycled from other crafting projects and vintage jewelry. All items are sanitized before use and again before shipping.

Extra items added to base designs or premade items cost extra and prices are based on the type and size of the item added. Items that can be added are:

• Stones - sizes relative to reccognizeable items

• Crystals or Glass Beads

• Feathers

• Shells

• Filligrees (all shapes)

• Chain

• Strand of beads

Shipping is not included in the listings and will be added during checkout if applicable. US shipping on orders under 13 oz is free. International orders have a flat rate of 3.00 if under 13 oz. If the order is over 13 oz, an invoice will be sent with exact shipping as I have not implemented a calculator for shipping yet.

State Sales Taxes may ap ply.

Customers may choose to pick up their items in person for free if it suits them.

Enter the Star: Terms and Conditions for the Be Uniquely You line

Enter the star of Siskananamuk! You! Send a description of an item you want along with a materials list and pictures of inspiration. You may also send materials if you have exactly what you want. All unused materials will be returned with the finished item unless permission is given to keep it here. Unused materials will only be used for the customer who sent them unless they give permission to use it elsewhere.

The Be Uniquely You line is the main point of ~Siskananamuk!~ We are happy to make a unique piece that just shouts, "YOU!" Challenge ~Siskananamuk!~ with your creative ideas.

Ideas for items you can ask for include:

•     Hair Accessories
•     Costume Jewelry
•     Costume Accessories
•     Small Home Decorations
•     Macrame Jewelry
•     Crochet Accessories
•     Chain Mail Armor***

Be Uniquely You! has a base cost that is listed. Additional costs include things added to the base design. For example: A Be Uniquely You! feather hair clip includes 1- clip, 1- 6 to 8 inch chain or rope, and 4 to 6 feathers. Anything added to that would cost extra. 

An invoice will be sent after the order is received that includes: 

• Item description and all charges included
• Cost of Labor
• State Sales Tax (if applicable)
• Exact Shipping Cost (if applicable)
• Questions or concerns about your item. Sometimes miscommunication happens.
• Estimated Time to Completion
• Total payment due within 30 days of order confirmation.

Extra charges added to the base cost may include:

• Shells
• Filligrees
• Chain
• Strand of beads

It may take up to 30 days to complete orders.  Wait time for materials and communications between customer and office may cause this delay. Most items are assembled within 24-48 hours.

Chain Mail Terms and Conditions:

That's right! ~Siskananamuk!~ weaves chain mail and chainmaille! It is very relaxing like knitting!

The listing price is for the deposit only. After the order is received, an invoice will be sent with final charges that includes: 

• Item description and all charges included
• Cost of Labor
• State Sales Tax
• Exact Shipping Cost (if applicable)
• Questions or concerns about your item. Sometimes miscommunication happens.
• Estimated Time to Completion
• Total payment due within 30 days of order confirmation.

The chain links are not rivited but are sturdy and stable enough to last through many LARPing and Ren Faire experiences.

If for any reason the chain mail would need repair, ~Siskananamuk!~ does not charge a repair fee. The customer pays shipping both ways or local pick-up and delivery*. Or the customer may bring it in and pick it up personally for free. Depending on the required repair, most repairs can be done within a day of arrival. Please contact ~Siskananamuk!~ before shipping so we will be expecting your item(s).

Items take approximately 10 to 100 working hours over a period of 5 to 60 business days depending on size, specifications, and materials availability.

Macrame: Terms and Conditions

Macrame is time consuming yet fun to do. Costs for macrame jewelry is different from the rest of the Be Uniquely You line.

The list price is for the base design only. An invoice for final charges will be sent when the order is received.
