Breast Cancer Awareness!!!

I remember the moment that the color pink changed to me. I was so caught up in planning my wedding that I didn't really see it. The day of my wedding, it hit me how selfish I had been. My soon to be mother in law couldn't make it to see her son on such a special occasion because she was fighting breast cancer at home. That day, the color pink was more than just a color. Now everytime I see it, I think of my mother in law. More recently, a friend of mine died from it. No one even saw it coming. She was planning our 10 year reunion. She never even gave a hint of what she was going through. How strong the color pink had become! No longer did it mean small and dainty! NO! It meant strength, love, power to overcome! We must be as strong as those who have to deal with it. We must show our love. We must prove we have the power to overcome it and keep our daugters protected!
